Kevin Patrick McMannis, 30, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born on May 24, 1993 in Englewood, Colorado to John and Suzanne (Imherr) McMannis, both who survive Kevin. Kevin is also survived by two brothers, John Alexander (Amanda) McMannis of Washington D.C. and Justin Christopher (Taylor) of Madison, Wisconsin.
Kevin loved Notre Dame, the Liverpool Football Club, the Astros, the Texans, cooking and travelling. Almost every day he wore something that represented Notre Dame. When he was not wearing ND gear, he could show you the ‘ND’ tattoo on his arm, which he hid from his parents for two years. And if it wasn’t ND, then it was a Liverpool shirt or scarf. He loved to play the Liverpool theme song, "You’ll Never Walk Alone" at all family gatherings and trips.
In High School, he baked ornate cakes for his friends’ birthdays. Since then, he would spend hours making dinners for friends and family.
He was always looking for his next trip. His favorite travel companion was his mother. He invited her along because she paid the bills and it enforced his belief in his status as the “Golden Child”. Kevin took pride in the fact that he had been on five continents. His family will treasure the memories of our last trip together: Christmas in Africa , 2023
